• What is Sky mobile TV?

Sky mobile TV lets you watch over 20 TV channels on your mobile phone. Available to Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange and 3UK customers, Sky mobile TV offers a wide choice of live and made for mobile channels featuring news, sports, entertainment and music.

• How much does Sky mobile TV cost?

Each Sky Mobile TV pack costs up to £6 per month for unlimited viewing (subject to any fair usage policy of your network operator). Please check with your network operator for any promotional offers and for specific information on channels and charges.

• How do I get Sky mobile TV?

You can only get Sky mobile TV if you are a 3G customer with Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange or 3UK and have a compatible handset.

3G stands for third generation – it’s an improvement on the 2G and 2.5G phones that most people have. With 3G you can access new services and faster data speeds than you can on 2G/2.5G phones. 3G is doing for phones what broadband has done for the Internet.


i) Vodafone
Visit Vodafone Live! on your phone and click on the Mobile TV link


ii) Orange
If you are an Orange customer, visit Orange World on your phone and click on the TV and Video link on the homepage.


iii) T-Mobile
If you are a T-Mobile customer there are two ways to access Sky mobile TV

• Through web'n'walk - open up the web'n'walk homepage from the main menu and select the 'Mobile TV tab' at the top of the page

• Through t-zones - open up the t-zones homepage from the main menu and click the Mobile TV icon in the centre of the page.


iv) 3 UK
If you are a 3UK customer you can sign-up to our News & Sports pack, which is available for a £5 monthly subscription or £1 per day.

Simply go to the Mobile TV, Sports or Entertainment Services links Planet 3, click on Sky mobile TV and you will be taken to our sign-up page.

Please note, data charges for streaming TV on 3UK will apply, and could be costly. 3UK strongly recommend you purchase their Internet Max Add-on before subscribing.


• I have subscribed to Sky mobile TV through the Sky Anytime on Mobile application but I am prompted to subscribe when I select a channel.

When you subscribe to Sky mobile TV you select a channel pack. Please ensure the selected channel is within your chosen package. Also, check we have the correct mobile number registered for you:

• Log-in to your Sky.com My Sky account and select 'My Sky Profile'

• Click on 'Edit My Sky Profile' and select 'View My Personal Details'

• Check the mobile number listed. If this is different from the one you used to sign up for Sky mobile TV, click 'Edit' and change the number.

• If you wish to subscribe to additional channels, follow the subscription process again and sign up to the additional pack.

• Is there a limit to how much Mobile TV I can watch for my monthly subscription?

Your mobile operator may have a fair usage policy. Please contact them for further details.

•When accessing Sky mobile TV through the Sky Anytime on Mobile application, I receive the message "If you have signed up, click 1 to re-request TV content" and then I just get a black screen.

Exit and reopen Sky Anytime on Mobile. Press the cancel button during the logging in process and you will be directed to the log-in screen. You should then see an Access Point Name (APN) option. This should be set to a WAP APN setting. When you enter the Sky mobile TV service you will again be prompted for the APN - select the same APN you set up in the above stage.

• Is a live channel the same as what I’d see on my television at home?

Yes. These are live streams showing all the same great content as on your TV, so you can keep up with the latest wherever you are.

• Are all sports shown on Sky Sports?

With the exception of WWE wrestling and HBO boxing, all the same great live sports action shown on Sky Sports 1, 2, 3 and Xtra is available live in the palm of your hand, from domestic and international football to golf and cricket.

• What does ‘made for mobile’ mean?

Made for mobile channels take a selection of the latest full shows, highlights and recaps and deliver them straight to your mobile where they’re repeated on a loop for you to enjoy whenever you want.

• Can I watch Sky mobile TV wherever I am?

Provided you have a compatible 3G phone on Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone or 3UK and have 3G coverage then you will be able to watch Sky mobile TV. As this is a 3G service, you will not be able to access Mobile TV if you only have 2.5G coverage
