Great news. You could soon be enjoying a better broadband service at no extra cost. Our new improvements will bring greater reliability and stability. But that’s not all. You may well benefit from faster speeds (depending on your location and line quality), and won’t need to wait long for these improvements - they’re happening over the next few weeks.

  • We’ll check different speeds and settings on your line to make sure you get the best possible broadband experience.
  • While we do this you may see slight fluctuations in the speed of your connection – don’t worry, this is normal.
  • You can track the status of your line checking by signing in to My Sky. Don’t worry if you haven't signed in before – you’ll just need your viewing card or payment details to hand.

Once you have signed in, click on the ‘Broadband Service Details’ section to see the current status and the maximum upload and download speeds your line can handle.

Introducing your new Sky Broadband:
Sky Broadband Base Sky Broadband Everyday Sky Broadband Unlimited
Sky Broadband Base will remain the same and is still perfect for occasional browsing and emailing.   Sky Broadband Mid will become Sky Broadband Everyday and is perfect for everyday browsing and downloading.   Sky Broadband Max will become Sky Broadband Unlimited and is perfect for high internet use as it gives you truly unlimited usage at the fastest speed your line can support.

Or if you’re not already a Sky Broadband customer you can join today.

As part of our ongoing improvements, we will be checking the broadband lines of customers on our network. We want to know that you’re getting the fastest speeds and the most stable connection your line can support. You can find out where you are in the checking process, by signing into My Sky.
If you have Sky Broadband with Sky Talk calls and line rental, we plan to transfer you to our improved Sky Voice and Broadband Network later in the year.
Unlike other providers – on our network we’d never slow you down because you use the service a lot, or at peak times.
